Height Safety Ladder Inspection, Testing, Compliance & Maintenance

Employers and those in control of any work at height activities must make sure that any Height Safety equipment is properly maintained and inspected at least every 12 months. Our testing and inspection of ladders are conducted in accordance with PUWER 1998 and BS EN 795 & BS 7883 2019 standards.

Our highly skilled teams of operatives not only test and inspect your fall protection and access systems; they will also thoroughly check that the installed systems are suitable for your users’ maintenance requirements, check correct PPE is used and discuss if any additional training is needed for the users.

Using specialist equipment that is regularly checked and calibrated our engineers test/inspect all of your working at height assets to ensure they’re safe and compliant in accordance with the latest relevant standards.

Our specialist teams will also conduct inspections to identify any damage and perform preventative maintenance on the system to ensure it’s longevity.

How Often Should Eyebolts be Tested?

It is recommended that eyebolts and single anchor points used for the purpose of Work at Height should be testing once every 12 months and once every 6 months if Class A eyebolts are used for Rope Access.

If your eyebolt and rope access system has not been compliance tested by a competent person within a 12 month period, they should be tagged strictly with ’do not use’ and be taken out of action.

Our compliance team have over 25 years of experience in work at height safety retesting and work with over 450+ companies annually to restest and inspect all aspects of height safety.

Our ultimate goal is to ensure you remain compliant, that your people are safe and the integrity of your assets are maintained. We will remove the stress and hassle of managing inspection and testing dates as our team will contact you at least 2 months prior to any required inspection we have on our database.

This allows us to arrange a mutually convenient date for the site visit and ensures that equipment is always ready for use.
