Overhead cable systems give the user maximum accessibility and hands-free access. Overhead cable systems comply with the following standards:

BS EN 795 – Class C

BS EN 362:1992

Testing/Inspection standards and frequency:
Class C Fall Protection systems under BS EN 795 – minimum of every 12 months and/or after every fall by a working at height specialist company
These systems and any associated PPE equipment must be inspected before and after every use by a trained user.

  • Overhead cable systems minimise the consequences of falls from height. Installations come equipped with a wheeled trolley and retractable fall arrestor offering a cost effective overhead fall arrest solution.

    The system is typically designed for up to 2/3 users and requires more advanced training on working at height and PPE. Fall arrest systems will require rescue plans and rescue training.
